ARCADE MOD for Left 4 Dead , 29/07/2010

(AKA Zombies server side ready), by Ralf Solo

This is a little mod base server ready ( from plug-ins found on the net,
and files edited by me) which works on any maps ( which use vanilla objects
and weapons).
People to join do NOT need to download the mod to play.

QUICK FIX at 29/07/2010
- One feature was missing.
- Unrar the file, in the "fix" folder, copy/paste "gameinfo.txt", "cfg"
in âleft4deadâ folder.
----------

- Survivors carry more ammo.
- specials infected more rare (campaign).
- Survivors have to shoot the head to stop the zombies.
(lower damage else where).
- Lots of zombies.
- More objects on the map (pipe bombs, molos, pills,first aid ...)
- x5 pipe bombs or molotovs at the time.
- Pills at start.
- 6 survivors.
- Zombies see you from far.
- zombies more slow.
- If you have Pills or Adrenaline, you can stand up from Incaps
by yourself holding USE.

---------- To install :

1-backup your original âserver.cfgâ file in âcfgâ.
backup your original âgameinfo.txtâ file in âleft4deadâ
2-Install the folder "left 4 dead" in the games folder of STEAM.
(For me is "common" folder = D:steamsteamappscommonleft 4 dead).
3- To uninstall , erase files from mod , back your original âserver.cfgâ, âgameinfo.txtâfile.

To start : choose play online and local server (!!!), invite friends
on lobby or start game and wait people to join as they do not need to download
the mod to play.

---------- Note:

- Works also in solo,survivors, team battle ...
- Game heavy on old PC and slow connection if more than 2 players
(+ 4 AI).
- Joining a game or hosting a game in a non local server, You will play a vanilla game.
- Still testing this mod, I may lowering the number of zombies in a future update.

---------- TESTED with friends : works great on vanilla and custom maps
